Childhood shots may not last forever.
As we age, the risk from preventable diseases becomes more serious.
💡 Don't wait until you're sick to wish you had protected yourself.
💉 Tdap Vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
– Booster recommended every 10 years
– Especially important for those around infants or with chronic illness
– Adults with pertussis often spread it unknowingly to babies
💉 Chickenpox Vaccine
– More severe in adults, with risks like pneumonia or encephalitis
– Recommended for those who never had chickenpox or haven’t been vaccinated
📍Protect yourself today—for your health, your family, and your future.
One dose of chickenpox vaccine (for adults).
The chickenpox vaccine helps protect against infection with the Varicella-zoster virus, which causes chickenpox.
Vaccination Recommendations:
✅ It is administered in a total of 2 doses.
✅ The second dose should be given at least 4–8 weeks after the first dose.
Diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.
Tdap Vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis)
The Tdap vaccine protects against three serious infectious diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough).
These infections can be transmitted through environmental exposure or contact with infected individuals, and all three conditions can be severe and potentially life-threatening.
General Adults
Adults should receive a Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) booster every 10 years.
It is recommended to replace one of these boosters with a Tdap vaccine (which includes protection against pertussis) at least once between the ages of 19–64 years.
Adults Who Have Never Received Tdap
Should receive a single dose of Tdap as soon as possible, instead of the routine Td booster.
Older Adults (≥65 years)
May receive a Tdap booster dose, especially if indicated.
This is particularly important for those who live with or have close contact with infants under 1 year of age, to help prevent the transmission of pertussis to vulnerable babies.
The service is available from today through December 31, 2026.
