Entering a new decade of good health begins with prevention. On its 40th anniversary, Vibhavadi Hospital focuses on improving quality of life by strengthening immunity through innovative vaccines that cover emerging and re-emerging diseases that severely affect the elderly and vulnerable groups.
Pneumococcus is a major cause of pneumonia, bloodstream infections, and meningitis.
Extensive Coverage: Developed to protect against 20 important strains.
Target Group: Individuals aged 65 years and older, or those with chronic underlying conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease.
RSV is not only dangerous in young children but also has serious respiratory effects in adults and transmits immunity from mother to child.
For the Elderly: Helps reduce the risk of severe pneumonia.
For pregnant women: Vaccination at the specified gestational age helps transfer immunity to the baby after birth during the vulnerable first month.
Shingles is caused by the same virus as chickenpox, which hides in nerve ganglia. When the immune system weakens, the virus reactivates, causing pain along the nerve pathways.
Reduces complications: Helps prevent post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN), which is difficult to treat and painful.
