Vibhavadi Hospital Conducts Code 0 Mass Casualty Drill to Enhance Emergency Preparedness
Vibhavadi Hospital conducted a Code 0 Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill to enhance preparedness in providing systematic, efficient, and safe patient care during emergency situations. The exercise focused on incident management, interdepartmental coordination, and timely emergency response to ensure effective operations in critical scenarios.
The drill was led by Dr. Chaisit Kuptivuth, Director of Vibhavadi Hospital, together with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff from all relevant departments. All participants took part in the exercise as if in a real-life situation, aiming to strengthen role clarity, communication, and teamwork throughout every stage of mass casualty patient management.
In addition, Air Marshal Dr. Warong Lapanan, Deputy Director of Vibhavadi Hospital, actively participated in the drill by closely supervising patient care, reflecting the hospital’s strong commitment to the continuous development of its medical and support personnel.
