It is a specialized examination related to the injection of a radiopaque substance containing iodine into the oral cavity of the ants before imaging the antlers and the tubes that carry the eggs on both sides. This examination is done to generally observe the shape of the antlers and to look for causes of difficult childbirth or infertility, such as twisted egg-carrying tubes or abnormal antler shapes.
